SMA Announcements

·     STUDENTS PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2011 WE WILL BE CONDUCTING 7TH AND 8TH GRADE SCIENCE FAIR.  PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU WILL NEED TO WALK  IN THE HALLS, NOT THROUGH THE  GYM TO GET TO YOUR CLASSES.

· The Town of Lutcher is sponsoring “Warm Hands-Warm Hearts Project” to donate winter clothing to the needy children in the area. See Miss Lisa to donate a gently used coat.  This is a service project.

SJHS Announcements  

· The following scholarships are available: The Glenn Miller, Dell & Palo Alto Humane Scholarships are available in the counselor’s office.  Please see Mr. Oubre during your lunch recess.

· We will begin an Art/Photography Club beginning January 2012.  If interested, please see Ms. Nall or sign your name on flyers hanging in the hallways.

· Attention to all students interested in running track or participating in a field event:  There will be an informational meeting on Monday, December 5^th and again on TOMORROW Wednesday, December 7^th in room 156 with Ms. Jackson.

· Attention Juniors! If you need a copy of the informational flyer on dues, MORP, prom and all things class of 2013, please retrieve it from Student Services or Room 156 on the door.

LHS Announcements

· JROTC will be hosting a food drive for the Baton Rouge Food Center on TODAY Monday December 5 through Friday December 16.  Can goods can be dropped off in JROTC classrooms or the large cans around the school.  Any can good donations are appreciated.

· Any 7/8 grade girls interested in playing softball needs to sign up in Mrs. Bland’s room 703 during lunch or after school by Wednesday, December 7.

·  FCA members should come see Coach Lacombe in room 707 to get their candy for the FCA Candy Sale.

·  Any junior or senior Beta member who is going to help set up Christmas trees for the Bonfire Festival needs to meet at Lutcher Park today for 3:00!!  Service hours will be given out.
